vvE regret to record the deaths of Mr. E. R. Badman, Mr. Alban Ford and Mr. Walter Spurr.

Mr.. Badman, of Richmond Road Garage, St. George, Bristol, died recently after a short illness. He had been a member of the Road Haulage Association for many years.

Mr. Alban Ford,. the press officer of the British Omnibuses Companies' Public Relations Committee, died suddenly from a heart attack on Saturday, August 4. Mr. Ford had been press officer to the committee since 1944.

For many years in business as a haulage contractor in Doncaster until he retired, Mr. Spurr died in Doncaster Infirmary at the age of 76, following a sudden illness at his home in Thorne Road, Doncaster.
