Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The 420hp Scania 6x2 tractive unit with the normal height G-sleeper cab. Lower-height G-cab saves 29-32kg on tare weight compared with equivalent R-cab models. G-series range is available with engines between 230hp-480hp.

We like

Budget-price Scania should suit fleet buyers unwilling to go for the full-height R-range. The G-cab offers decent space, particularly on the tipper version.

We're not sure

Drivers may take some persuading, or want the tallest HighLine G-cab to keep them happy.

We think

Although we had our doubts initially, Scania operators have reacted positively to the "inbetweenie". Moreover, G-series now gives Scania a solid competitor against the Daf CP, MAN TGS and Renault Premium.
