BUS AND COACH operators must now pay out-of-scope rates for any Road Transport Industry Training Board facilities they use, as the sector has dropped its association with the Board.
Although a Parliamentary Order to this effect had still to be made as we closed for press, the bus and coach division was withdrawn from April 1. Details of new non-statutory training arrangements will be circulated among Confederation of British Road Passenger Transport members over the next few days.
