Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A NEW version of the Purolator Micronic filter has been introduced by Automotive Products Co., Ltd., Leamington Spa. The Purolator design consists of a two-stage filter with a metal-element filter in the first stage and a Micronic element in the second stage.

In the new version, a Micron'e element is also used in the first stage so that there is a dual safeguard against the passing of impurities. The second stage is sealed and, normally, would not call for attention between major overhauls. • The new arrangement prevents the possibility of foreign matter being introduced into the injection system when replacing the first-stage element.

The new filter is available in two sizes, MF.58l8 with a nominal capacity of '4 gal. per hr., and MFF.10664 of 6 gal. capacity per hr.
