Gordon Gray, 18, of Glen Hire Express and Duncan Collier, 19, of WJ Colliers & Co, have just passed their WV test at the DSA test centre in I3ishopbriggs at their first attempt. With Ritchies driver training organisation
they have been taking part in the Road Haulage and Distribution Training Council's Young Driver's scheme. This allows young drivers to get their LGV licence before the usual age of 21 while working towards their Scottish Vocational Qualification level 2 in Transporting Goods by Road. Gordon and Duncan are definitely young men who will be going places.
