THE Road Haulage Association and the Association Francaise des Transporteurs Routiers Internationaux (A.F.T.R.I.) are collaborating with a view .o promoting semi-trailer traffic between France and the United Kingdom. French hauliers interested in establishing reciprocal towing arrangements with British
-operators will he put in touch with their counterparts across the Channel.
This move may well indicate a relaxation of the traditionally unco-operative French attitude to British hauliers and a possible re-orientation of semi-trailer traffic ex U.K., which, so far has been Mainly Tilbury/Rotterdam/Antwerp.
