CONSTRUCTED expressly for the %--• purpose of a brake-refacing and facing supply depot, new premises for Ferodo, Ltd., were officially opened by the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Aid. Bernard Butler, T.D., P.C., last week. The new building is at 31-32 North Cumberland Street, Dublin, and the trade section incorporates storage spacethree times greater than that previously

available. Modern fitting machinery and degreasing plant are provided in the workshops, which will offer a refacing service for both brakes and clutches.

The building stands on falling ground and facilitates the provision of a loading platform 5 ft. above the service yard. The packing and dispatch bay adjoin this platform and goods can be taken off road vehicles by means of an overhead electric gantry, being lowered into the bulk storage accommodation in the basement or taken direct to the unpacking section.

Mr. J. W. G. Lee, who has been with Ferodo, Ltd., in Ireland for over 20 " years. will continue as manager, Mr. William Smith, managing director of Ferodo, Ltd., and his fellow directors, Mr. F. L. Harrop and Mr. G. S. Sutcliffe, were present at the opening.
