VAN DOORNE'S Automobielfabriek NV, of Eindhoven, Holland, maker of DAF commercial vehicles, announces that 20 per cent of its goods vehicle production is currently being sold for export. The company is to expand its sales and service network within the Common Market area. Turnover for the current financial year is expected to total 225 million florins (about £224 million) for all sales, as compared with a total of 200 million florins (about £20 million) for the previous period.

New Lorry Plant QERIAL production of the " Flanok-7 rnag " and " Markant "goods vehicles of the Rheinstahl-Hanomagr concern of West Germany is to start in the very near future at the company's newly equipped Bremen works. Full capacity output will be reached by the start of next year.

Mitsubishi in Siam

UTITSUBISHI (THAILAND) CO. al LTD., a subsidiary of the Japanese Mitsubishi industrial concern, plans to build a plant in Thailand for the assembly of 5,400 Mitsubishi goods vehicles annually, sales to be both on the home and on export markets. This move follows the decision of the Toyota and Nissan vehicle concerns of Japan to set up Siamese assembly plants.
