Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

they get on this side of the pond: you'd need to pick a US double-sleeper for substantially more cubes. With a maximum interior height of 2.2m even giants can stand upright; only the ERF offers more.

Even with both bunks in use, each sleeper has a minimum of 600mm headroom, The bottom bunk has more headroom and the thicker mattress, and its 800min width, is only just beaten by the Mercedes.

The cab heater doesn't have an easy task and could only push the temperature to a maximum of 21.5°C, but it's easy to use and dual outlets warm the cabin evenly With air suspension fitted to the rear axle, the cab and the seat, very few road bumps get through to the driver. The Super Space Cab gave a superb ride over everything from broken concrete to smooth tarmac.

Movement at the cab floor is well controlled, beaten only by the MAN, but on the seat the driver is subjected to high-amplitude/lowfrequency movements: the seat tends to 'float' up and down over quite a large range but in doing so it irons out the jolts.

With a big, lazy 500hp engine noise levels reached no more than 72d1i(A) on the road. However, the Super Space cab didn't do so well on our noise penetration test.

Three lockers over the windscreen can store enough clothes for an extended journey and the central one is big enough to house a TV When getting undressed you automatically stand on the large, flat, carpeted engine cover, but the carpet will suffer if drivers don't remove their boots.

Once in the bunk 135mm of mattress means that you don't find it necessary to move every few minutes throughout the night. There are clothes hooks at each end of the bunks and a tray for drinks and spectacles to one end. In the lower bunk the driver can control the heater and the excellent lights which form the main cab illumination.

There's a handy reading light over each bunk and you can reach the radio from either bunk.

With the radio turned off the cab falls blissfully silent: no Chinese water torture from the tachograph; no whine from the night heater—both are muted to almost imperceptible levels. Switch the light off and you can have an excellent night's sleep, which is just what we did.

There's no better place to be than your own bed, but if you must spend nights away the Super Space Cab is as good a place to be as any and much better than most.
