Michael R. Kelly, 37, formerly director of rental development at Ryder Truck Rental and before that operations manager of the Hertz commercial vehicle fleet, has been appointed Ryder's London director.
Roy A. Sallabank, 41, has joined Seeboard (South Eastern Electricity Board) as transport Officer, in charge of the Board's fleet of 2300 vehicles operating over Kent, Surrey and Sussex. He was formerly transport engineer with Overseas Containers Ltd.
Thomas W. Dodd, who was previously manager of Dennis Brothers Ltd, of Guildford, has been appointed managing director of the company.
Peter G. Gilloch has been appointed to the new post of area financial accountant, London, by B RS Parcels Ltd. He was previously chief accountant, Muller Batavier Ltd. G. E. Tasker becomes airfreight manager, London Airport branch. He was previously attached to the sales department, London area office.
Nigel Peters, 45, has joined John Ratcliff (Tail Lifts) Ltd as marketing manager. Mr Peters was lately general manager of the Godfrey Davis truck service division and, before that, was principal transport engineer for the Greater London Council.
Peter Millard, 42, has been appointed UK sales manager of Crane Fruehauf Trailers Ltd. Mr Millard has joined CFT from Lancer Boss.
Ian S. Lees, 27, has been promoted product sales manager of Crane Fruehauf Containers Ltd. Mr Lees studied Mechanical Engineering and Commercial Vehicle Bodybuilding at Manchester and before his new appointment worked as assistant to the sales director.
Kevin Harper has been appointed chief executive director of the Primrose Third Axle Co Ltd, Blackburn, Lancs. Mr Harper was previously a production specialist at the Chrysler truck plant at Dunstable.
A. E. Butler has retired as London Transport mechanical engineer (rolling stock — buses) and has been succeeded by C. F. Greystock (see Meet Charles Greys..tock, page 55).
