Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A REDUCTION of 4d. a lb. or more rA than £37 a ton, in the price of aluminium sheet made by the British Aluminium Co., Ltd., came into force last Monday. This applies to the two most widely used types of aluminium sheet—pure aluminium and BA.60 alloy —in quantities of five cwt. or more in standard dimensions, and in quantities of five tons or more in non-standard dimensions. Smaller price reductions apply to circles and BA.21 sheet, but prices of tubes, extrusions, corrugated and other sheets are unchanged.

Alcan Industries, Ltd., also announce price reductions in some of their general engineering quality sheet and coil products.
