Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

VOLVO HAS BEEN forced to recall 13,000 FH16s worldwide to fix an electrical fault, which could affect the steering system.

The Swedish manufacturer says there have been 10 incidents involving FH16s made between 1993 and 2002 where a faulty cable led electrical currents into the steering system, causing it to fail.

A company spokesman adds that there have only been 196 FH16s recalled in the UK, affecting a total of 118 operators.

Claes Claeson. head of information at Volvo's Trucks unit, says: "It's quite a big recall because we've seen that the consequences can be dramatic. But the error is easy to fix and we don't see any big costs from this. It's maybe an hour of work per vehicle.

Claeson declined to say how much it would cost the firm.
