Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Leslie Huckfield, the MP for Nuneaton, never seems to miss an opportunity of stating that he was once a lorry driver.

According to CM of September 19/1 the MP for Nuneaton spent "most of his life in the academic and political fields", He is now 29 years of age, he was elected to the House of Commons when he was 24, prior to that he was doing research at Oxford and was for a period lecturing at the City of Birmingham College of Commerce.

How much lorry driving has Mr Huckfield really been involved in, since he could not get a full hgv licence until he was 21? I am afraid those whom he terms as his lorry driving friends would consider him to have been very much a part-time van driver, since it seems he would only have been able to drive light vehicles and even then only during his university vacations. His claim to have been a lorry driver is typical of so many MPs who endeavour to get a great deal of political return from very little "practical" investment.
