Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

4.—X A PORTABLE hydraulic tube bender

intended primarily for copper tube has been added to their "Staffa" range by Chamberlain Industries, Ltd., Argall Avenue, London, E.10. The new machine is called the Staffa Rotabend C/1 bender.

Only 3 sq. ft. of floor space is required for the unit which is operated by a handle mounted above the self-contained hydraulic pump. As downward strokes are used, the machine does not normally require a stand or fixing, but if bends in opposite planes are required it must be raised off the floor.

Price of the Staff a Rotabend C/1, complete with all tools to bend f-in. to 2-in, copper tube, is £67 15s., whilst a specially fitted box can be supplied for an additional £2 Ss. Additional sets of formers for bending gas pipe, electrical conduit or light gauge ferrous and non-ferrous tubes can be purchased separately or as an alternative to the standard formers.

All centre forming dies incorporate an angle of bend indicator.
