• NFT Distribution has won Iwo new contracts to move chilled foods. The first, worth £500,000, involves distribution for The New Covent Garden Soup Co out of its Peterborough centre. The second, also worth £500,000, is to deliver cooked meats for Hygrade across the UK.
• Wincanton Logistics has signed a five-year, £5.5m contract to provide a nextday nationwide delivery service for packed chemicals supplier William Canning.
Swedish multinational Electrolux has awarded UPS the contract to store and distrib
ute its floorcare products across the UK.
• Essc has chosen P&O Trans European to handle all its small-truck deliveries of distillates and petrol across southern England with 25 vehicles in Esso livery running out of six sites.
The AiA and Pitney Bowes have signed contracts with Parcelforce Worldwide. The two deals, For one and three years respectively, are worth a combined £1.5m.
