These rallies seem to be never ending. I've heard of another one, due to take place on August 22 in Bristol. In the past it has been mainly a bus rally, organised by busmen for busmen. This year they are opening the doors to lorries, cars and motorcycles. Now I don't know if you've been to Bristol recently but the "one way," "no left turn," "no entry" systems, plus what appears to be a constant traffic jam, doesn't make it my favourite place to drive in. What a parade of oldies will do to the traffic doesn't bear thinking about. Perhaps that's why they're holding it on a Sunday.
