DIFFICULTIES would be caused to tipper operators if a Bill being promoted by Birkenhead Corporation, which would make it an offence to drop dirt on the highway, came into effect. This view has been put forward by the road transport section of the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, who said that it was impossible for vehicles to leave a building site without some dirt falling from tyres and underparts of the vehicle.
