Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

In all the public hoo-ha about Chrysler the truck side has, mercifully, figured very little. Now I have it on good authority that, with the settling of the Chrysler UK business, the truck and van operation will Continue as planned.

My informant is no less a person that Gwain Gillespie, executive vice-president, Europe, whom I met at a Car of the Year function in London last week, when the new Alpine was having its success marked with acclaim.

Mr Gillespie is a former Dodge man from the States, and talks knowledgeably and with feeling about commercial vehicles. With the Perkins engine supply problems just about sorted out, he sees a big future for the Commando, not only in Britain but in Benelux and Austria in particular— where the first Continental sales are being concentrated.

The Barreiros-built 32-tonner will continue to be Chrysler's big one for Britain, there are facelifts for Walk-Thru and PB vans in the pipeline—though probably not this year—and a new light vehicle is scheduled for around 1978.
