AN appeal lodged by Bassett's Coachways, Ltd., Tittensor, Stoke-onTrent, against a decision of the West Midland Licensing Authority, refusing certain modifications when granting an application to continue a group of excursions and tours, from Stone, has been dismissed with costs.
Potteries Motor Traction Co., Ltd., .Messrs. Thomson's Tours and the Railway Executive were respondents. The appellant had asked for a new starting point for the tours, certain additional picking-up points, additional vehicles and 53 extra tours. The appeal concerned the refusal to. grant the new starting point, two of the picking-up points, and the vehicle allowance.
