Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

of experience in the manufacture of electric industrial trucks, the Cleco F8 stillage truck has been designed to reduce general labouring costs in the factory or warehouse. Made by Cleco Electric Industries, Ltd., Leicester, it is able to handle heavy loads, may be used as -a platform truck and is small enough to enter lifts for floor-to-floor operation.

With an overall width of 3 ft. 2 ins., it may be driven or be pedestrian controlled in narrow gangways. Its turning circle of under 9 ft. enables it to manteuvre in severely restricted spaces.

'All controls are linked to the tiller of the steering gear. When the tiller is held down, power is applied, and when released, the brakes come into operation. The steering may be turned through a 90-degree lock in each direction.

A reversing switch is provided for entering a stillage, and with a few pumps o the hand lever of the hydraulic lift, the stillage is raised clear of the ground, ready to be driven away at the safe speed of 3 m.p.h. 130th: tiller and pump controls have been designed to require little exertion in operatioa, and the, truck can be easily operated by a youth or female labour.

Driven by a set of three 12.-volt car batteries, the hp series-wound traction motor has sufficient power to haul a 20-cwt. load up a Ii in 10 incline. Naturally, it functions best on level floors, brut can be used on rough surfaces and is stable on a heavily cambered roadway,

When fitted with the recommended 36-cell car batteries of 72 amp.-hr. capacity at 20 hr rating, the FS is

capable of a full day's work of 6-10 miles. A charger supplied with the truck is designed with a steep taper charging rate to avoid overcharging.

Running cast of the truck -is low, as 4 units of electricity are used for a normal day's work.
