A LLICESTERSI I RE operator who is splashing out more than 00,000 on new equipment says he is looking forward to the construction boom promised by preparations for the London Olympic Games in 2012.
Coalville-based Clarendon Freight was founded four years ago by Ian Lankester after he left his job as a transport manager at Hanson Aggregates.
It has just taken on a new Scania tipperandordered a Mercedes mixer which is due to enter service early in March.
Lankester says the company has worked to offer better service to customers and to become more customer-focused.
"We're expanding on the back of that," he explains. way the construction industry is going now towards the Olympics will open doors for us as well."
