Dome folk can be so impatient. A JCB driver caught in a traffic jam decided to alleviate the congestion by using his earth-moving equipment to pick up a wagon in front of him and deposit it on the pavement. The driver was still in his cab at the time.
Damage to the truck has been estimated at more than £1,400: JCB driver Adrian Fisher is disputing this figure in a civil action but pleaded guilty in court to criminal damage.
He was given a year's conditional discharge and ordered to pay £30 costs.
