Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

KENT-MOORE has introduced a revised diesel engine compression tester and cylinder laakage tester.

The new diesel engine compression tester, KM 4001A, is designed to provide greater durability during workshop use and is supplied in a strong metal storage/carry case. Its dual-scale gauge has a rubber protection cover and the hose is steel braided to avoid damage from accidental contact with he hot exhaust manifold.

This tester has a reset gauge pointer, relief valve and nonreturn valve. It is used with adaptors to cover various engine applications and provides compression tests for an indication of piston ring, as well valve seat condition.

The redesigned KM 4014A cylinder leakage tester is suitable for both diesel and petrol engines when used in conjunction with available adaptors. A 14-18mm spark plug adaptor is supplied as standard.

The 4014A has a similar function to the compression tester, but has additional diagnostic advantages — such as use without compression figures, identification of problem areas and use without running the engine.

The KM4014A is supplied in a strong steel case and incorporates a large dual-scale gauge tamperproof restrictor and quick fit connectors. Kent-Moore UK 19-21 Stockfield Road Acocks Green Birmingham B27 6AJ
