Each entry must be accompanied by official entry form and six copies of the ei They should bOtypewritten to 50 charm and double spaced. The thesis should t 10,000-12,000 words in English. Illu tions should be clearly marked and pi should be numbered. Pages and illustrat should be secured.
The judges will be chosen from a panel will include a representative of the spon and Fellows or Members of professi( institutes, learned bodies, educational E blishments or those engaged in the indu at a senior level. Each judge will read E thesis independently and award a per( tage mark.
In the event of a tie, the chairman of judging panel will be invited to mak decision. To assist the chairman the autt of the entries involved may be invited , personal interview to discuss their entries The decision of the judges is final an not open to appeal.
The winning entrant will receive up £1000 towards the expense of further St of the subject, may be invited to visit research and development departments the sponsor, and may be invited to pros the thesis to a conference in London in 19 The award of £1000 expires on ME 31,1982.
Entries must be submitted to the Edi' Commercial Motor, Room 62, Dorset HoL Stamford Street London SE1 9LU on before November 3, 1980.
