Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

s,S A REGULAR reader of CM or many years, I always look orward to my weekly copy, larticularly the (January 26) sue — the guide to recovery ,perators.

But to my dismay all that I Dund was half a book of adverts Dr AVRO.

While I know that AVRO was iainly the brainchild of CM, 'lease do not forget that there re many of us in the trade who o not have to join any organlations to show we are capable f our job or to give honest value pr money.

I have been operating .icovery vehicles for over 20 ears and qualify as one of the grunt and truss brigade". I ever consider that I know all le answers as no two recovery alos are the same — the opera

tor never knowing what he is up against until he arrives at the scene.

Both our cranes are handoperated, I do not care for your term "mangle", and I do not think Harvey Frost would like it very much.

As Mr Ron Dawes stated (CM, January 26, p36) you can "feel" a hand crane, there is no feel with power. So, Mr Editor, please give the likes of us a mention and do not keep all the glory for your own association. B. G. W. PARNELL Lion Garage Hove
