LEYLAND VEHICLES an, MAN have announced plans build commercial vehicles ii Rhodesia.
LV executives hay returned from a visit to th country, and say that it Umtali factory could restar production of lorries an, Land-Rovers very soon.
And MAN has announced £650,000 plan to build lorries a Sinoia, in the north of th country. Before the works ar ready, the company plans t• make use of temporary pre mises.
Leyland executives are sai to view MAN's plans wit scepticism.
