IMPERIAL Foods Group companies have taken steps in storing larger fuel supplies with the installation of three static fuel tanks and larger tanks on 18 Dodge Commando lorries.
Smedley-HP is installing 10,000 gallon storage tanks at its Spalding and Aston Cross, Birmingham, depots and a 5000-gallon tank at Wisbech.
In addition to their existing 46-gallon fuel taks, 30-gallon tanks will be installed on 18 Dodge Commando lorries used by Golden Wonder.
The additional tanks will mean that every journey can be completed without using outside fuel sources.
