:APACITY on the Felixstowe-Rotterdam crossing is being boosted by Townsend Thoresen which has chartered a Swedish D-ro ferry.
The 5465-ton Nordic Ferry, which holds up to 120 12m trailers, s being chartered for a year, and replaces a 3334-ton ferry which s being moved to the company's Zeebrugge service.
The new vessel has such driver facilities as a restaurant, bar, leluxe cabins, gymnasium, and table tennis room.
At the same time, driver accommodation on the other ferries in the route will be increased from 44 to 60.
