• Fyffes-Monro Haulage Ltd, a subsidiary of the Fyffes Group Ltd, announced this week that it had been granted one of the 99 EEC multilateral haulage licences available to UK operators.
Fyffes-Monro say that they will now be strengthening their Continental transport, which has been concentrated on meat, frozen foods and fresh produce mainly from W. Germany, Holland and Belgium to the UK.
