A woman boarded a London tram in the Gray's Inn Road and asked the conductor for the Eye Hospital. "You want a 43, mum." She seemed to like the looks of the tram she was on, and asked: "Can't I go by this one?" "No, mum; 43 goes close to the place. Now then," he added, "mind how you step off. You go and get half killed, then you'll want the Royal Free!"
