Since Steadplan opened the new site, it has generated some local sales: Dascher has ordered 12 MAN trucks eight 1(8-tonners and four 7.5-tanners), with five-year contract maintenance deals. Chilled logistics company Fowler WelchCoolchain, which has recently opened its flagship ambient depot on the nearby Heywood Distribution Park, has placed an order for 11 MAN tractor units with twoyear contract maintenance deals.
