Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

m Detectives investigating two hijack attacks on the same lorry have arrested three Glasgow men and interviewed a fourth.

Dumfries and Galloway Police last week charged three men over the theft of computer equipment worth more than £700,000 from a Leyland Daf truck at the Annandale Water services off the A74 near Dumfries in mid-October. A raid on the same vehicle was carried out two weeks later at Southwaite Services on the M6 in Cumbria. Vodka and whisky worth 2130,000 was stolen.

Cumbria Police confirm that a 37-year-old man from Wishaw, Glasgow, has been interviewed and bailed until 13 January pending further enquiries. Detective sergeant Michelle Skeer, of Cumbria Police, confirms that officers arrested a suspect in the M6 incident.

"We've put hundreds of hours into this case," says DS Skeer, adding that the two raids are being linked, although they are being investigated separately by the English and Scottish forces.

In both raids the driver was abducted and abandoned in the North East unharmed. The robbers later dumped the lorry and trailer—owned by Lancashirebased Allan Munroe Transport —after allegedly switching the load to another vehicle.

The company offered a £10,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the culprits and recovery of the stolen goods.
