Erjof news reaches the Hawk from the pages of the Honiton Exmouth Weekly News. The 12 November issue told its readers, "The Renault Extra 775 has been named as Testers Choice 1 993 by the team of writers on the respected Commercial Motor magazine." Feathers puffed with pride at the praise from our West Country cousins, I shove the cutting under the noses of CM's Tech team, responsible for the award. Are they impressed at this coverage of their hard work? Apparently not. CM readers were given the joyous news in our 11-17 February issue, along with the other Testers Choice winners.
To help the news hounds in Hon iton and Exmouth, the Hawk is putting CM's Finest carrier pigeon through two months rigorous and extensive training, in time for Testers' Choice 1994. Remember, you'll read it here first.
