Good Work by Napiers.

As regards our Napiers, they are giving every satisfaction. My own, which I took over last February, is still running perfectly! So far, we have had absolutely no mechanical trouble, with one exception, when we managed to have a broken spring on the rocking arm of the delightful, blessed by everyone Splitdorf magneto. Considering the nature of the roads and the amount of running done, it is surprising to find that there has been no road-spring trouble! Our springs have had nothing done to them except greasing ! Up to the presentour Napier has carried over 900 patients, which has meant. using something like 500 galIons of petrol. Seeing that we can average 15 m.p.g. when on top gear, it will give you some idea that we have, at times, to do a lot of slow running. As an example : the night hefore last it took me exactly an l-our and three-quarters to bring three rather badly wounded patients
