• Warehousing and distribution specialist Tate and Lyle Distribution Services has appointed David Wilson as engineering services manager based at its headquarters in Bromley, Kent.
An honours degree in mechanical engineering, Wilson has worked for UB Distribution Services for the past five years, holding the position of project engineering manager, planning manager and most recently plant services manager. Before that he was employed as a truck sales engineer by the Ford Motor Co.
At Tate & Lyle his responsibilities will include co-ordinating vehicle engineering, maintenance and purchase operations across the contracts, hulk products and packed products divisions, including Silver Roadways.
