• Three Plaxton Paramount 4000 MS Double Deck coaches mounted on Scania K112TR chassis have been delivered to Western Scottish Omnibuses by coach distributors Stuart Johnson of Sheffield. They are the first Scanias to be delivered to the Scottish Bus Group.

The coaches will be used exclusively on the Glasgow/London Scottish Citylink motorway services, on both day and night runs.

Each coach is fitted with Scania's Computer Aided Gear Shifting (CAG), ABS brakes. Econocruise top speed limiter and Telma foot control retarder. The body equipment includes 71 reclining seats, Webasto pre-heat boiler, toilet, servery and video to both upper and lower saloons. Double glazed windows and full-draw curtains are also standard.
