"on-thejob" training of drivers for hgv, using our own vehicles? I've heard there is one in the North, but cannot find an address.
A We think you may be referr ing to Driver Training Consultancy of 3 Harley Green, Leeds, Yorks. This is a new enterprise which at present is on quite a modest basis, but it lists some big national companies among its clients. This concern hires out hgv instructors on an hourly, daily or weekly basis to train or upgrade hgv drivers on the customer's own vehicles at his own premises or on his regular working trips. It also provides driver assessment, etc, in the same way as established training schools.
