A BRITISH Standard entitled "Dimensions of compression and oil control rings and piston-ring grooves for internal combustion engines" has been published by the British Standards Institution, 2 Park Street, London, W.I.
Nominal diameters, maximum radial thicknesses, widths, closed-gap dimensions and minimum cylinder wall pressures of piston rings are specified together with piston-ring groove dimensions for engines specified in B.S. 3627.
