Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ANEW type of heavy-duty air cleaner incorporating an automatic dust unloader has been developed by the United Air Cleaner Division of the Novo Industrial Corporation, Illinois, U.S.A. Known as the Tr-Phase cleaner, the unit incorporates flexible plastic lips which are normally kept closed by the vacuum generated inside the cleaner, but against which dirt is thrown until the weight of this dirt builds up to a point where it overcomes the vacuum, whereupon the lips open and the dirt is discharged.

The unit has a centrifugal pre-cleaner which is claimed to get rid of 97 per cent of the dirt before the air passes into the dry element, this element being made of specially treated pleated cellulose paper inside perforated metal cylinders. The cleaner is made in seven sizes, ranging from 5 to 14 in in diameter, and the element can be easily cleaned.
