Darlington Corporation have been taken off the road, to complete plans made 10 years ago for the gradual replacement of the vehicles by motorbuses. The corporation operated trams from 1904 to 1926, when the trolleybuses were introduced. After the last war the gradual change-over to motor vehicles began.
