Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

RELAIS ROUTIERS, originally created for heavy transport drivers, have been carefully selected since 1934, and on the Continent, unlike the UK, are largely used by lorry drivers. The Guide des Relais Routiers (Routiers, £5.95) lists 3,600 European restaurants, inns and hotels, entitles the buyers to a special menu, and provides many regional road maps.

A useful addition for international drivers is the list of Routiers Service Stations: there are 92 at present on motorways and main roads — the first of 300 to 400 being planned.

In most cases, says the guide, 24-hour service is available to hgv drivers, and a phone with a reverse charge facility will be available.

Routiers (British Isles and Commonwealth) Ltd, 354 Fulham Road, London SW10 9UH.
