Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

As well as the wall planning boards and similar record/charting systems available from the companies shown in this survey, some oil companies have schemes which provide advice on vehicle maintenance, garage layout and so on, and these can include the supply of a special design of wall chart.

Examples are the Shell Servo and BP Fleetcar schemes. Both companies include in their service advice on workshop layout and equipment, sets of maintenance records and a wall-type planning chart.

Esso also includes a wall chart in the services available under its ELSI scheme and so does Amoco in its Fleet Safety Service plan.

Burmah-Castrol Industrial also pro vides a wall planning chart in the service offered to operators but makes the proviso that whatever wall-type display equipment suits a particular application should be chosen rather than stick to one .particular design for all cases.

Petrofina will give similar help and advice as these other companies and has a set programme but a standard wall planning chart is not offered although proprietary equipment will be suggested if felt desirable. The latter also applies to Amoco although the help and advice provided by this company does not follow a set pattern, proposals being tailored to suit particular requirements.
