ONE of the two basic models in the Stenor range of portable /mobile oil-burning blowertype space heaters can operate an gas oil as well as paraffin. This is the Model 175 which has a heating capacity of 175r000 Btu /hr and a consumption of 1.1 gal /hr.

The smaller model, the 105, is produced in three versions, the Mk11, the Tanking and the Super. All the models have a capacity of 105,000 Btu /hr, a heated air output of 500

cu ftlmin and 'a fuel consumption of 0.62 gal /hr. Electrical consumption is 3.8amp.

One tank filling of the Mk11 and Super provides for 16hr running and it is claimed that the running cost of the three versions is less than 7+p/hr. Safety switches ensure complete fuel cut-off. The Super is fitted with a special flame-failure device to give automatic shut-down in the event of fuel or flame failure or if the fuel fails to ignite. In the Tankless model, the heater is connected to a bulk supply system to give continuous running.

A Stenor ducting kit is available to users who require a means of transferring warm air from one part of a building to another, from one building to another building or from outside to the interior of a building. The length of the standard ducting kit is 18ft Gin, and extensions are available.
