E. P. BARRUS LTD,

12-16 Brunel Road, Acton, London W3.

COMPACT, portable and operating at a low noise level, the three Portaheat Mk 11 oil-fired heaters in this company's range have heating capacities of 90,000 Btu /hr, 180,000 Btu /hr and 320,000 Btu /hr. And all the models are equipped with a remote control thermostat which can he switched out to give manual control. They are built to BS 4256.

The heating capacities of the heaters are indicated by the model number multiplied by 1000. Providing a heated-air output of 300 cu ft/min, the 90 has a fuel consumption of 0.5 gal /hr,. while the output of the 180 is 1000 Cu ft/min and its consumption is 1.1 gal /hr. Corresponding figures for the 320 are 2000 cu ft/min and 2 gal /hr. The electrical rating of all models is 220 /240V ac or 110V ac (50 cycles). Models 180 and 320 are available in suspended and free-standing form as well as a portable unit. A heat switch provides safe shut down in the event of the fuel running out, while the remote-control thermostat of the thermal-automatic heater gives a flame and ignition failure lock-out of 20sec and a reset time of 60sec to BS 799.
