• The full range of trailers formerly manufactured by Doughty Trailers is to be produced again; the company was put into the hands of a receiver. Now Russell Doughty, who was managing director of Doughty Trailers, has established a marketing and design company, Doughty Trailer Sales Ltd, 54 Harland Road, Southbourne, Bournemouth, and has made arrangements with a large national companyfor production.
The first examples, to be delivered soon, will include a 30/32-ton-gross timber carrier, some specials and some tipping trailers. Telephone number of the new marketing company is Bournemouth 40647.
