Automatic Bleed Valves AUTOMAT1C bleed valves, suitable for bleeding hydraulic systems used on most commercial vehicles, are now being made by Patent Development Co. Until now these have been available for use with cars and light vans only. This type of lalve simplifies the bleeding of a vehicle's braking system— there is no need for rubber tubing, bottles and jars to catch waste fluid and the whole operation can be completed by one man very much quicker than the conventional method.

The valves are screwed into the existing wheel cylinder bleed-screw sockets, replacing the normal bleed screws. By slackening each nipple in turn and pressing the brake pedal four or five times each time, the vehicle's braking system is bled quickly and efficiently. The valves can also be used for hydraulically-operated clutches.

Valve sizes now available are lin. and -AT in. UNF; kin. BSF and UNF; and in. UNF.
