THE VEHICLE and Operator Services Agency has been forced to postpone a shift to online MoT bookings because of problems with the computer system.
The online system is on trial before it goes live later this year. But a VOSA spokeswoman admits: "It has not been as a smooth as we would have hoped.Test stations can still book tests manually, but this means that things are a bit slower.
"However,operators will benefit in the long run from the new system as they will be able to hook tests online, amend their licence details and pay with credit cards."
