A DRIVER was injured as he tried to stop his Mercedes Sprinter being stolen.
The incident happened in Norwich, just after 2pm on 25 August. The driver was making a delivery in Metcalf Close when he noticed two men in a Ford Transit nearby. When he returned from making his delivery he saw one of the men trying to start his van.
He tried to stop the man, but the van was driven off, hitting him and injuring his leg. The second thief, still in the Ford Transit,drove at the driver, who was thrown onto the bonnet. He was left on the ground with whiplash and grazing.
