,enni Moore, AA trainee mechanic, has broken new ground by becoming the first female student to receive a medal for excellence from the City and Guilds Motor Vehicle Craft Studies course. One of nearly 5,000 students last year. Jenni was the only one to be awarded a bronze medal.
She now works at the AA's South Mimms depot following her "outstanding performance" on the course. She is not new to the AA, however, having worked as a telephone operator taking breakdown calls. Curiosity got the better of her—she swapped her telephone for a spanner to find out why so many vehicles break down.
