• GEMS/Clearway's new Torino 40-tonne underlift recovery vehicle is on a five-stop tour of the UK.
Based on a LHD Magirus 8x4 chassis, the truck's main features include a 5.0m underreach boom for recovering low-floor coaches. It also has a high craning main boom capable of lifting 8.0 tonnes at maximum reach. Details from GEMS on (0633) 821771.
